The Racing data team in Howden is at the heart of the racing and betting industry having provided content to the market for over 60 years. We provide services to customers such as William Hill and BetFred to enhance their platforms and drive customer engagement.
As official horseracing data supplier for the UK, Ireland, US and South Africa we can provide racing and betting data in multiple forms: race cards, silks, form guides, tipping, live shows, results and stats that cover the last 100 years.
We’re also a key player in the UK greyhound industry with a strong presence at tracks across the country. Its extensive coverage ensures betting operators can provide data that accurately informs their customers and boosts platform interaction and engagement.
Successful applicants will work within PA Data at our Operations centre in Howden, East Yorkshire and will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts who all share a passion for Horse and Greyhound Racing. You’ll gain insight into how PA maintain their position as market leader of betting content in the UK and will develop transferable skills within a key area of our Sports Data team, focusing on how we source, package and distribute racing and betting data on behalf of rights-holders to customers around the world.
Your learning will be fully supported by our partners at Doncaster College and over 12-18 months you will achieve your Junior Content Producer Level 3 qualification and complete your apprenticeship.

What you’ll need
As well as being fanatical about sport you’ll also need to be over 18, have GCSE Grade 5-9 or B in Maths and really good verbal and written communication skills. Other than that, it’s about your attitude and desire to do well. We choose people who are happy to roll their sleeves up, work with the team and make our business even better. You’ll find yourself in many challenging situations, but you’ll have the grit and determination to deal with anything that comes your way.
