Customer Service Advisor

Are you passionate about delivering great customer service? Our racing and betting data team update live betting markets for Horse and Greyhound racing for every meeting in the UK, Ireland, South Africa and Dubai and selected meetings from the United States, Australia and India to our customers.

We have been at the heart of the Racing and Betting industry providing content to the market for over 60 years and our business is thriving with 60% growth in the last 4 years.

We now have opportunities’ for both permanent and casual Customer Service Advisors to join the fast paced and supportive team in Howden, East Yorkshire.

What you will do:

Working both independently and as part of a dedicated team you will log inbound queries from customers such as Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power Betfair being the first point of contact and giving real-time responses.

You’ll work closely with other areas of the business to escalate and diagnose issues to ensure that our customers continue to get the service that makes us the market leader.

You’ll need to be proactive and will closely monitor racing and IT systems to identify and escalate live incidents.

What will you need?

 Previous experience in the industry isn’t required although an interest in racing and sports would be useful.

Good numerical skills and analytical skills are required, and you’ll need to be a great communicator (written and verbal), have a keen eye for detail and be flexible and reliable.

Due to the nature of the industry and the hours you must be over 18 and you must be willing to work a flexible shift pattern within a 24/7 support function inclusive of weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
