Service Transition Analyst

PA Media Group, the UK’s leading provider of multimedia content and services, are looking for a Service Transition Analyst to transition new services into the organisation and ensure service readiness and operational acceptance.

The Service Transition Analyst will play a vital role, ensuring not only that new systems are transitioned smoothly but also being responsible for the risk register, project managing IT projects and providing major incident management.

You will work closely with the squads and report directly to the Head of Continuous Improvement and will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities which deliver significant value that you may not be exposed to with other organisations.

The Person:

You’ll have experience of working in transitions in an IT environment but it’s not important to us which industry that was in.

You’ll need a good understanding of MS Office applications and will have working experience of managing IT projects, but a formal project management qualification isn’t required.

You’ll have naturally great communication skills to allow you to work collaboratively and positively within the team and working knowledge of ITIL.

Strong analytical skills will be important to your success and you’ll be comfortable working in a busy environment.

It would also be useful to have incident management and Power BI experience but it’s not essential and we can give you these skills.

What we can offer you:

Join us as a Service Transition Analyst and you can expect an excellent salary and benefits as well as the opportunity to really maximise your knowledge and experience to establish yourself as a “go-to” person.

This is a Group role offering exposure to our diverse business and we’ll support you in maintaining up to date knowledge of developments and new technology.

The team are casual, professional and above all incredibly supportive and will help you to develop your long-term career which could take a number of different directions.

PA Media Group recognise the importance of a healthy work-life balance and are committed to helping employees to achieve this successfully and offer flexible start and finish times and home working.

This role will involve some on-call working but this is fairly spread across the team.

To apply, please email your CV and covering letter to Dawn Stevenson, Head of Continuous Improvement at dawn.stevenson@pa.media
