Established by the Scottish newspaper industry in 1978, the Scottish Press Awards showcase the country’s best journalistic talent.
Jane’s win comes a few short weeks after she was named Royal Photographer of the Year by the Picture Editors’ Guild.
Announcing Jane’s award yesterday, presenter Stephen Jardine said, “The judging panel was unanimous in its support for our stand out winner this year, who showed amazing variety in their portfolio, demonstrating an incredible ability to create images that conveyed a depth of emotion, tension and excitement across a range of sports that managed to grab the attention of viewers like no other.”
